Music has always had the power to bring people together. Sometimes, it can also help restore hope and support communities in moments when they need it most.

On June 5, communities across Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland will come together for a special benefit concert featuring Thunderstorm Artis, American Idol finalist, in support of Meant to Live Foundation and the rebuilding of the St. Abanoub school campus in Zambia.

Earlier this year, severe flooding caused major damage to the campus, impacting the classrooms and learning spaces used by children every day. What was once a safe and supportive environment for students now requires significant restoration to continue serving the community.

For Meant to Live Foundation, this mission goes beyond rebuilding structures. It is about helping restore safe learning spaces where children can continue receiving education, support, nourishment, and encouragement for years to come.

Hosted by STSA Church and produced by IMPACT Collective, this event was created through a shared belief that communities are strongest when people come together with purpose.

Known for his heartfelt storytelling, soulful vocals, and uplifting presence, Thunderstorm Artis will headline the evening in support of this mission. His music, rooted in authenticity and connection, reflects the spirit behind the event itself: people coming together for something larger than themselves.

“This is more than a concert” has become a phrase repeated throughout the campaign because it reflects the heart behind the event. Every ticket purchased and every person who attends becomes part of a collective effort to help support children, families, and a community working toward rebuilding after devastating floods.

At its core, this night is about community, compassion, and the belief that even small acts of support can help create lasting change.

We are grateful to everyone who has helped bring this event to life and to those who continue supporting the mission of Meant to Live Foundation.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening centered around music, community, and collective support for a meaningful cause.

The June 5 benefit concert will take place at STSA Church located at 2640 Shirlington Rd, Arlington, VA 22206. Doors open at 6:30 PM.

100% of proceeds will go directly toward helping restore safe learning spaces for children impacted by the floods.
