From St. Dominic Church to The Jefferson: A Washington, DC Wedding
Posted on
Every couple wants their wedding day to feel like them, and this Washington, DC celebration did exactly that.
The day began with a heartfelt ceremony at St. Dominic Church before family and friends gathered at The Jefferson for an evening of great food, meaningful toasts, and a dance floor that stayed full well into the night. Every part of the celebration reflected the couple’s personality, creating a wedding that felt welcoming, joyful, and true to who they are.

A Ceremony at St. Dominic Church
There’s something special about a church wedding, especially in a place as beautiful as St. Dominic Church.
As guests filled the pews, anticipation grew with every passing minute. Soon, smiles turned into happy tears as the couple exchanged vows surrounded by the people who mattered most. The church’s soaring architecture and stained glass created a beautiful setting while keeping the focus exactly where it belonged, on the beginning of their marriage.
After the ceremony, everyone gathered outside to celebrate the newlyweds before heading to the reception.

An Evening at The Jefferson
The celebration continued at The Jefferson, where guests were welcomed into a reception that felt both elegant and relaxed.
Soft florals, candlelit tables, and thoughtful details complemented the space without taking attention away from what mattered most: spending time with the people who came to celebrate. As dinner gave way to heartfelt speeches, the dance floor quickly filled with guests of every generation. From grandparents to lifelong friends, everyone found a reason to get up and join the celebration.
It was one of those receptions where the energy never faded and no one seemed ready for the night to end.

Behind the Scenes
By the wedding day, months of planning had already come together.
As the couple’s Month-of Coordinator, our role was to keep everything moving behind the scenes. From managing the timeline to coordinating with vendors and handling the details throughout the day, we made sure everything stayed on track so the couple could simply enjoy the moments they had spent months planning.
The best coordination isn’t something guests notice. It’s something they get to enjoy without ever thinking about.
