My daughter worked closely with Eddie Fam of IMPACT Collective prior to her wedding, and I heard nothing but positive feedback. I met Eddie at the rehearsal, and I could see why she was so enthused. Eddie kept the entire event running smoothly and efficiently. He was patient, informative, pleasant to work with, and always available. Everything went perfectly at both the church and the reception at The Jefferson. Where do we even begin to highlight the amazing talents and expertise of this fantastic team? My husband and I were engaged in April 2024 and from the start, given my wedding dreams as a little girl, knew I had to make our wedding day the best and most special day! I, being somewhat a control freak/perfectionist, knew I had to hire someone or a team that understood our vision and end wedding goals for that very big day! Enter Impact Collective, referred to as a top vendor on The Knot, and after reading reviews and interviewing with many wedding planning/coordinating companies, landed the most personable and informative Zoom calls we’ve had with Eddie Fam.

From the start, and through my husband’s and Eddie’s shared passion for music, and my immediate bond with them through the earlier phases of this process, my mind was put at ease the final months leading up to our wedding. I knew that things would be perfect! It was going to be a glorious event!

While we only used the team for Month-of Coordination, the access to Eddie and his team at any time of day/evening, through the many ad-hoc brainstorming Zoom calls we had, and the many texts and calls exchanged was above and beyond what I thought this relationship would be! I could be teetering on the edge of insanity and needing a “talk-off-the-ledge” motivation or a simple run-through and feedback of ideas we had for the reception, and Anna and Eddie were there in any type of wedding weather.

Ultimately, for me, I couldn’t say more great things about them. I told my mother and husband multiple times how impressed I was with the manner in which they took the reins, staying on top of vendor emails the month leading up to the wedding, almost acting as my non-attorney spokesperson during walk-throughs, and on Friday, the day before our wedding, and Saturday, our wedding day, I couldn’t have felt more comfortable being completely disconnected from my cell phone and any other distractions knowing they had things in order.

They were the captain of the ship that day and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Running around to our bridal suite, the groom’s suite, checking in on me via text if needed, relaying things through my bridesmaids to convey to me, helping keep us on track with our day-of timeline, and then even perhaps getting us back on track when we were starting to stray from the very rigid wedding day timeline, going above and beyond, taking the rolling cart from Hotel Burg we’d packed with items to transfer to the wedding venue, and ultimately just being our greatest support for the most important day in both mine and Justin’s lives is beyond what words can convey.

Eddie and his team are truly a dream team and we wouldn’t want it any other way! If you’re lucky enough to work with them, you’ve hit the jackpot and we can’t thank them enough for the special connections we’ve made with you both, not only as professionals but as new friends.

As a newly engaged bride, I was looking for a month-of coordinator who I could trust implicitly, who was communicative, and who would take all of the months of planning I did and make my vision a reality. We had a fantastic experience with the IMPACT Team. Within 5 minutes of submitting an inquiry, the owner, Eddie, called me to talk on the phone about my (now) husband and me as a couple and what we envisioned for our wedding.

We had a few hiccups getting started, but IMPACT immediately paid off as we had them for the partial planning service and also asked them to review our venue contract. We had Kadzo, who is literally the best person ever, helping us plan our wedding for the whole year leading up to it. She had amazing insight on different vendors, when we were looking at rentals, and was a calm presence even when we didn’t do our homework.

Kadzo was unfortunately not able to be there on the day of our wedding, something we were immediately made aware of when she was assigned as our planner. But Briana and Cheronda, who worked with us during the last few weeks leading up to the wedding, were fantastic. They handled everything so smoothly that if there were any hiccups, we didn’t notice at all.

We greatly appreciate their help, attention to detail, and support throughout the day. They truly helped us enjoy our day and just be in the moment, and that was amazing for us.

Amazing Team + Quality Work = Perfect Wedding

BLUF: Using IMPACT Collective as your Month-of Coordinators is a smart move for a seamless wedding. Our wedding was smaller (~65 guests), but our ceremony and reception locations were 15 minutes apart. IMPACT Collective did an amazing job coordinating, setting up, and taking down everything.

IMPACT Collective can 110% be trusted with your biggest day (we hired them as our Month-of Coordinator). Eddie (the owner) is fantastic and has a great staff. He ran our initial consult meeting and really listened to our plans, our needs, and our concerns. It took that one meeting to know that we trust his team to help us across the finish line.

While Eddie handed things off to our planner, he still attended some of our meetings in the lead-up and maintained awareness of the status of everything. I cannot say enough good things about them. They became a trusted resource to ask questions and bounce ideas off. They attended our venue walk-through and held numerous virtual meetings with us. I knew very quickly that they would make sure our vision came to life.

We had the ceremony and reception at two different places about 15 minutes away, which added to the complexity. They were with me (the Bride) and running things at the church while starting the setup of the reception. Everything ran smoothly and the reception setup was beautiful.

Also, one of his teams came in handy when my husband stepped on my dress midway through the reception, and I needed to be quickly sewn back in. At the end of the night, the decorations and our personal items (plus the extra cake) were quickly added to my parents’ car. Overall, they made everything seamless.

I will also note that they did a great job of finalizing the Run of Show (the document that contains literally everything, everyone, and the timeline). We were still finalizing specifics the week of, but they were extremely patient and quickly incorporated the information into the plans when we had them finalized.

My husband and I had planned and organized most of the vendors on our own, but then realized we do not want to be “in charge” on our wedding day, or put any of our guests in that position. So we decided to hire a day-of coordinator. That was one of the best decisions we made! Eddie not only helped us out on the day of, as soon as we hired him (about 2 months before the wedding), he responded quickly to emails regarding suggestions for additional vendors we still needed. He also met with us and all the vendors one month prior to the event to ensure everyone knew the other parties and could answer questions we or they had. Eddie also had great suggestions in the month leading up to the wedding – such as writing out a detailed timeline of the day, sending a “logistics” email to our guests a couple weeks before the event, etc. Personally, it was also good for me to have this “homework” and someone who was expecting it to be “turned in”. On the day of our wedding, Eddie was at the ceremony site right on time and made sure everything looked great. When the ceremony was over, he zipped over to the reception, he was there to look into it so we could enjoy our day. Working with IMPACT was wonderful. Through all the stresses and concerns with our wedding, IMPACT was there. A wedding to remember!

Eddie and his team were so great in helping plan this event and making the night terrific. Before the wedding I met with Natasha and she helped me plan all the seating, the timing, some decorating, and overall logistics. The night of the wedding was also wonderful, in that both Natasha and Eddie were very attentive to mine and everyone’s needs. I could tell they really wanted everyone to have a good time, and I think they ended up having a good time too! The only negative feedback I can give, is I wish they would have closed the winery to public just one hour early, so my guests could eat earlier. But in the grand scheme of things, the night was still wonderful and my husband and I, and our guests, will never forget it.

Kadzo Saved our Wedding (and made it the best weekend ever)

During my wedding day, everyone kept telling me I looked very calm, relaxed, and happy. I told them that besides marrying my partner, the best decision for our wedding was to work with Kadzo (for sure)!
We knew her work was already amazing after she did my brothers wedding, so when it was my turn we already knew we wanted to work with her. At that point we had known Kadzo and Eddie for over a year, and felt like family. We had seen her in action navigating complicated family dynamics, doing behind the scenes work to make sure the event goes smooth, and bringing a wedding to an event venue that doesn’t usually host them. We worked with Kadzo for a multi-day, LGBTQ Indian wedding and we wouldn’t have been able to do it (or have as much fun in the process) without her. We couldn’t thank her enough for making our weekend a DREAM. Working with Kadzo throughout the year was incredibly smooth. First off, she is a legend at working with different personalities. My partner is Type A, I’m pure Type B, and Kadzo was amazing at balancing being on top of everything, but also not overwhelming us with decisions to be made. Everything got done, but without the stress and pressure on our front. There’d so so many meetings where we’d be like “What about this? or that?” and Kadzo would have already thought of, AND taken care of it before it even came across our minds. Budgets are also a huge logistical factor, and Kadzo always made sure we got the best value of what we wanted. She would give strong recommendations on when to dive in and otherwise when to pull back, but always keeping our vision in mind. I also even saw her negotiate pricing for linens or something by just giving the vendor a look. That’s skill. She kept our vision in mind, which was helpful because even we’d forget that sometimes when we’d get off course or wrapped up in tiny details! We appreciated her grounding us and bringing us back to reality, and making the wedding planning process a fun experience too (I’ve heard brides lose their shit – not here) And when it came to planning things, she always had a “We’ll get it done” mindset which was incredibly reassuring when you’re deep into planning a million things. We completely switched out our decoration design mid way through planning process and she absolutely NAILED the look working with the decorating team Even our vendors would tell us how much they love working with Kadzo, which I thought was such a standout thing to have industry people tell you that. They were also ones that we selected, some of whom had never worked with Kadzo, so she was a superstar from the get go. They told us they wished all the planners they work with were like Kadzo. My favorite moment though, and this goes to show you how dedicated Kadzo is making sure things go smooth as possible, is when she joined my parents in walking down the aisle. My mom’s in a wheelchair, and my dad got too excited in the moment and forgot to wheel her down. So Kadzo immediately jumped in and wheeled my mom down herself. I didn’t know any of this until I saw the photos that afternoon, but I loved having Kadzo captured in family photos – she IS family at this point! I could go on about who much we loved working with Kadzo, Eddie, and the Impact Collective team. So much so we had our family work with her twice, as well as some family and friends who went on to work with her too. I’ll just wrap it up by saying that a wedding is one of the most intimate and special moments your life, and you’ll be better off working with someone who cares about it just as much as you do, has the experience/network to bring it together, and also makes it a fun year-long thing so you can look back on your entire wedding PLANNING process, not just the wedding day, and saw you had a great time. Please go work with them!

We worked with Impact Collective and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our multi-day wedding weekend in February 2026. Starting with Eddie Fam the owner (who gave us the best wedding band recommendation) it was truly a great experience.

For the wedding ceremony and reception we worked with Kadzo West, who handled everything with incredible attention to detail. The planning and decision making process can be stressful but on the actual wedding weekend we felt calm and were able to be fully present due to our complete trust in Kadzo. We really valued how honest and direct she was when providing her expertise on vendors, event flow, decor, and working with the venue. This is exactly what you want in a planner. Every single vendor that she recommended exceeded our expectations. She also truly understood our vision even when we couldn’t articulate it very well. For example, we were unsure of the floral arrangements and she intuitively understood what we were going for and brought it to life. Kadzo made great recommendations for our decor which she flagged during our venue walkthrough which added a much better aesthetic for our ceremony. She took care of everything and went above and beyond. She acts with true professionalism in every manner. For our Mehendi (Henna) night, we worked with Ali Talwar and Anna Miller. Ali did a great job connecting us with our catering, DJ, and henna artists. She also gave us great recommendations for decor that helped us save money for the DIY event. In the leadup to the event, we worked with the awesome Anna Miller. This event was more casual but had many moving parts and Anna executed it flawlessly. As someone with an eye for decor (she has a photography background), she took all of our decorations and set them up on her own. She has a natural talent for creating a cohesive and elevated aesthetic. She also went the extra mile and overdelivered. We had a backdrop display where the frame was too small. Anna was kind enough to bring her own and set it up for us. The logistics she took care of and her incredible responsiveness to emails, texts, and last minute questions made the event seamless. She was always one step ahead and anticipating our needs we didn’t even realize we had. Anna was fun to work with and has a great energy. Planning a multi-day desi wedding is no small feat, but Kadzo, along with Eddie, and the Impact Collective team, made the entire experience not only manageable, but genuinely enjoyable. First and best decision of the wedding was to hire Impact Collective.

Hiring Kadzo and Eddie at Impact Collective was the single best decision we made for our wedding. I would not have been able to plan our 3-day destination wedding with Indian and Jewish elements if not for them. There were so many moving parts and they handled everything flawlessly.

When we started planning, we wanted to do a wedding in the Dominican Republic. We went to visit and decided it wasn’t for us. Kadzo and Eddie recommended Playa del Carmen. We went to visit and fell in love with the city and Grand Hyatt hotel there, so we signed contracts and Kadzo began working in earnest. We flew down again, with Kadzo, to experience the space and meet with vendors. Four months before our scheduled wedding, Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen canceled it due to a rebranding. We were devastated to say the least. Kadzo and Eddie picked us up and dusted us off, treating the cancelation like an emergency. We took another last minute trip down to the area with Kadzo and, after many hotels, we finally found the one. JW Marriott in Cancun. Kadzo planned our wedding in about 70 days. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Kadzo, Eddie, and the IMPACT Collective team for our 3-day Indian wedding. Aside from saying “i do”, hiring IMPACT Collective as our full service planner was the best decision we made.

Here are a few reasons we loved working with IMPACT Collective: 1. Eddie and Kadzo made wedding planning fun – we were able to focus our time on the decisions we cared about (e.g., choosing a florist), knowing that the other details (e.g., alignment with vendors, timeline sequencing, hotel blocks) were taken care of. 2. They made our wildest ideas possible. Our dream food provider didn’t offer full service catering, so Eddie and Kadzo found a team who would help fill in the gaps. Our dream DJ was flying in from Toronto and could only bring his laptop, so Eddie and Kadzo found a sound system team that worked with our DJ and our unique reception venue to bring the sound to life. We never had to compromise on the things we cared about. 3. They helped us do things our way. We had an Indian wedding, but wanted to incorporate many components that broke the traditional mold. Eddie, Kadzo, and the IMPACT Collective team have so many different cross-cultural experiences under their belt, that we were able to mix and match the ideas that worked for us. We had the absolute best experience working with Kadzo and Eddie throughout our wedding planning experience. Kadzo was our lead planner (full service) for our 2 day Indian wedding for ~400 people and she went above and beyond to make everything absolutely perfect. Kadzo truly is a fairy godmother! Kadzo and Eddie anticipated everything we could possibly need without us even having to think about it and managed to help us stay within budget by using their vast network of contacts. I can’t stress enough how amazing they made this process (even while navigating a large cultural wedding) and I can’t recommend the team enough!

IMPACT Collective was wonderful. From the initial consultation with Eddie to meeting our lovely super duper organized wedding planner Star, they were awesome. If you have an event with a lot of moving parts, vendors, etc. You definitely need someone to coordinate all of that. Especially the closer you are to the event. Star had so many compliments from our other vendors to how organized it was. The day of the wedding, all of our guests complimented on how smooth the wedding which was very important for us as we don’t like guests to sit around be bored and not know what’s happening next. Would highly recommend IMPACT Collective 10/10!

Booking IMPACT Collective was the best decision we made throughout the entire wedding process! Kadzo was our planner and made our experience stress free from start to finish. We got the full wedding planner package, which included monthly meetings with Kadzo in the year leading up to our wedding and weekly meetings as the wedding date got closer. From the start, Rebecca and I knew we wanted to have a unique wedding. Our goal was to avoid the typical catering hall feel, while also incorporate aspects of our diverse backgrounds. From the very first zoom call, he made us feel comfortable that our dream wedding could be had. If we imagined it, he made it happen. He was able to work with us as we need to make several changes throughout the way. We also worked with Star who helped plan our dream day as well. The communication throughout the entire year plus process of planning was above all other. Star and Eddie kept us in the loop the entire way. They made planning the event a lot less stressful then it could have. We spoke daily via email, and had monthly zoom calls along the way to make sure we were on course. When it came to wedding weekend itself, Eddie was there every step of the way to make sure everyone was where they needed to be, we were never behind on time, and he had every single detail fine tuned so there were literally 0 nerves on wedding day. He coordinated our rehearsal so well – no one missed a step on the day of. We cannot thank Eddie, Star and the team at Impact Collective enough for helping us plan our dream wedding in the Dominican Republic. We have received nothing but overwhelming positive feedback, with a lot of our guest saying that this was the best wedding they have been too!

Eddie was so wonderful to work with! We wanted a very intimate wedding with all the bells and whistles taken out. We also were merging 2 different cultures and found it really tricky to navigate. Eddie made sure we weren’t overwhelmed with information, helped us keep our mind at peace through the whole process, and even helped us find some fun party games last minute to incorporate into the wedding. He also made sure everything went smoothly during the day of, which was our biggest stressor. A very fun, loving, and genuinely caring individual that gets the job well done. We had a destination wedding in Mexico and we cannot begin to express what a big help Eddie and his team at IMPACT were! We could not have done it without them! They helped us along with every detail from choosing the location, the menu, the flowers, making travel arrangements, negotiating and paying all involved vendors on our behalf and coached us through every step. IMPACT Collective played such a huge role in selecting the perfect location for our destination wedding! We were married at the beautiful ME Resort on April 20, 2012. We were so pleased with the Resort that was recommended to us by IMPACT. There are so many little details that go into planning a wedding and most brides need assistance in staying on track! Eddie Fam and IMPACT Collective were instrumental in helping my now husband Michael and I in resolving a number of vendor issues and services for our formal engagement ceremony and reception which took place in Washington DC, and our formal wedding in NY. It’s great that some of the people from DC general got to come to my show and Meant 2 Live Foundation brought them here, and just hearing a little bit of their stories and seeing the look in their eyes… It lit them up a little bit which I love to see, It’s an honor to know believers that are in the trenches with the homeless, loving people well that’s what the gospels all about.

I think this is amazing, this ministry to me is exactly what I think Jesus would be doing. And I think that when you see it in action it’s a beautiful thing. Reaching to those who are so desperate for new life…It’s more than just bringing them to church. It’s loving them and treating them like brothers and sisters.

That’s what this ministry does, it doesn’t just give them what they think they deserve or what they would expect it gives them way beyond what they expect. So keep doing what your doing, it’s amazing.

Eddie has a huge heart for the people that are underprivileged and it is my honor to be apart of his organization and Splendor.

I think the homeless in the DC community and really all across the country are an overlooked community, and Jesus was here and he didn’t say there was any difference between how much money you had, there was no class to him, he hung out with people who he would normally hang out with, and I think this is what Jesus would be doing, That’s why I’m so excited about this, this takes the focus and goes – here are people that have been overlooked but they are precious to Jesus, you are a VIP and you matter and that’s where they’re at right now.

As a mother of three I know what it is like to have someone love on your child, when you come to a parent right here in your community to come and say I care, I want to do something to help you to improve the quality of your life right here and right now, there’s nothing better than that and then you take that a step further and do that around to world with the kids in Zambia, you have my heart you have my support and I am so happy to be apart of it.

We are just so grateful at the Lamb Center for Splendor because you sought us out and you saw what we do and trying to be the hands and feet of Jesus for people who are hurting and who the world has given up on and you treated them to a night that they will never forget and you treated them like royalty, and our guests know when they are treated sincerely and with love and they can sense that right away with Splendor, we just are very grateful.

We’re really grateful for the Meant 2 Live Foundation and Eddie for all he’s doing, a lot of our guests who are going today for the Michael w. Smith and Amy Grant concert are really excited. It’s a chance they they don’t get, I mean this is a completely different world for them, to be able to go to this concert is just a wonderful blessing for them.

I brought Eddie on as a partner to help with the logistics and planning of the NVBIA Great American Living Awards. He handled all aspects of the planning, logistics, client meetings, partnership, etc. with professionalism, efficiency and dedication to getting the job done. He was a pleasure to work with and I will definitely partner with him for future events.

I’ve have the pleasure to work with Eddie on several occasions, and I think Eddie is a remarkable event planner. His genuine personality, attention to detail, personable nature and follow through skills put him at the top of the game. Eddie and I have become fast friends over the past couple of months through ISES. He led an amazing seminar about event marketing. Working with Eddie and his team at IMPACT Collective is always something I look forward to. Having now worked three events with IMPACT (1 Gala, 1 party and 1 wedding) I can attest to their professionalism and expertise in planning, coordinating and executing events. I distinctly remember on one occasion at a Gala with 400+ guests where something went awry, Eddie calmly and quickly handled the situation without issue, which is a real asset as an event coordinator. As a wedding photographer, I have worked with several wedding coordinators over the years, but Eddie and his team at IMPACT Collective are among the best. I had the pleasure of working with IMPACT Collective at a wedding at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C. From the beginning, Eddie and Ali handled everything related to the ceremony, reception, and guests. They allowed me to focus on the bride and groom and get every image I needed. I have never worked with a more professional team.

Whenever the couple and I needed something, they were there. If guests needed to know the schedule, the location of the bathroom, or a location for a private moment, they were there. You can’t ask for a better wedding coordinator. As I always say, the photographers and the wedding coordinators are the first to arrive and the last ones to leave. As a DJ it is so nice when the planning, details, hard work, and professionalism combine to make an event next level for our modern brides and grooms. I had the privilege of working with Eddie Fam from IMPACT Collective – Weddings and Destinations at a theatre-inspired wedding in spring 2025. The bride was super bubbly and even wrote her own theatre play, so she was really wanting elements in her wedding that hadn’t been done before.
